- Das franzoesische Unternehmen DARRACQ aus Suresnes uebernahm 1919 das britische Unternehmen und verwendete ein Jahr lang den Markennamen
- TALBOT-DARRACQ fuer Fahrzeuge, die in Frankreich produziert wurden
- Fuer Rennwagen aus beiden Laender wurde dieser Markenname noch
- bis ca. 1930 verwendet
- Der Markenname der britischen Fahrzeuge lautete weiterhin Talbot
- 1920 kaufte Darracq außerdem die Marke Sunbeam und gruendete die
- Gruppe STD (Sunbeam-Talbot-Darracq)
- Der Markenname der franzoesischen Fahrzeuge lautete nun Talbot
- Allerdings wurde fuer den Export nach England weiterhin der alte Markenname Darracq verwendet

- Zahlungsmodus: Wir liefern das Auto am Firmensitz des Frachtunternehmen an. Nach der Empfangssbestaetigung der Fa. I’DING LTD. erfolgt die Zahlung des Fahrzeuges an uns. Dann geben wir das Auto zur Verschiffung frei
- Selbstverstaendlich akzeptieren wir aber auch ein Akkreditiv oder auch Letter of Credit (genannt) von einer Deutschen Bank als Zahlungsmittel fuer das Fahrzeug. Hiermit ist fuer den Kunden gewaehrleistet, dass keinerlei Zahlung an uns erfolgt bevor wir das Fahrzeug nicht bei der Verschiffungsfirma angeliefert haben und die Frachtpapiere (Bill of Loading) vorliegen.

- Despite many people thinking that the beginning of the succesful racing era of this British marque was related with the launch of the powerful 105 model
- The Talbot Sports 90
- with its four seat pointed tail body
- was really the most competitive car made by this
- London based company during the thirties
- Another historical mistake is that some people say Talbot was French
- They forget the Anglo-Saxon creativity
- and the future minded engineering job of Mr. Clement Talbot
- He built these fabulous cars from 1903 up to 1938, when,
- in facts, the South Kensington factory was sold to a French competitor
- After the company started a good production and developed some technical innovations in the automobile field
- such as the Pre-Selector gear-box
- the six cylinders engine and the use of the wire wheels
- In 1930 a big emphasis put the “90”on the market
- They only produced 216 units until the end of 1933
- But it could be purchased in several different versions:
- Tourer
- Saloon
- And sports, of course
- With a modern engine, that was capable of more than 140 bhp in the racing scheme
- A dozen of cars were sent to the most important races of the times;
- In the 1932 Mille Miglia
- The team of Mr.Lewis and Mr.Barnard was 25th at the arrival in Brescia
- Anyway, the real international success of the “90”
- was due to the professional aim of the Fox & Nicholl’s team of Tolworth
- Surrey; their famous cars in the tipical “double green” livery
- were 3rd and 4th at Le mans in 1930
- And then they placed three cars in the first three positions
- of the TT and
- The 500 Miles race of Brooklands in 1931
